We spent our Memorial Day weekend with my parents! Craig and I haven't seen them since Easter and Mosley hasn't seen them since New Years... my parents could NOT believe how big Mosley has gotten. I guess they're right, he is getting pretty big! He will be eight months on the 30th of this month. Can't believe it.
Mom, Dad, Kate, and Jessica all arrived on Friday night. We spent the rest of the night talking and catching up. Saturday was a nice relaxing day in the yard. We played catch, horse shoes, and watched Jessica spray Mosley with the hose. My dad also updated some electrical outlets and hung up some pictures for Craig and I. We went out to dinner at the local fried chicken restaurant (Mt.Hamil Tap) with Craig's parents, then back to our place for a fire in our new fire pit! On Sunday, we went on Craig's parents' boat. History repeated itself from last Memorial Day- Craig and I thought our skin was "too tough" for sunblock. Once again, we were wrong and have been coating on the aloe! My parents left after our long day on the Mississippi River. We had a great time and miss them already :(
Craig and I spent Monday cleaning our cars. It was very hard to be in the sun with our burnt skin, so the rest of the day we spent inside. Craig went fishing with some friends later on (once the sun went down and it didn't hurt to be outide). Ha-Ha
This picture should have been uploaded a couple posts ago, but here is Mosley with his little birdie friends :)
Thanks to all of those who have fought for us!! God Bless America!!!

Birdie
We haven't posted in awhile... we have just been a little bit too busy! I haven't been able to post any pictures either :( so sorry, I promise I will have some updated pics soon.
We do have an update on Mosley, though. We have noticed that he is starting to find little friends. He is starting to find bird nests in our evergreen trees that he can reach and he takes out the baby birds... and plays with them. His form of playing is throwing them up in the air with his mouth and swatting them with his paws. We try to stop him but it's too late. He doesn't eat them, just plays with them until they die. Ooops. :/
Craig and I are very excited for this weekend because my parents are coming to visit!! We haven't seen them since Easter, so it has been a long time. Too long actually.
Cannot wait!!!
Oh and I didn't get the Danville job. The interview went really well and I felt really comfortable. The superintendent just said that I was going up against someone who already has teaching experience. I totally understand that, but I won't ever get any experience unless someone hires me! Hopefully my luck will change and I get another chance at a job.

Cinco de Mayo
We celebrated Cinco de Mayo with Craig's family. I made chicken enchiladas and we drank the new Bud Light Lime-A-Ritas. We can already tell that those are going to be a nice treat to have at the Lake of the Ozarks this July! We brought Mosley with us so that he could play with his "girlfriend," their one year old female German Shepherd Mazy. I don't think they stopped running and playing the whole night! Mosley was exhausted.
On Sunday, Craig and I tackled the yard. We trimmed trees and planted flowers. It was so hot that Mosley decided to lay in the mud, all day. Talk about one dirty little puppy!! We found some time later in the day to go grocery shopping. We bought Mosley a plastic baby pool to lay in for the up and coming hot summer days. So far, he thinks it is just a giant water dish. Eventually he will realize he can lay in it and be cool for most of the day, I hope!
We will have pics up soon of our latest "home improvement" project! Check back in later :)

Hello to all
Hi. My name is Ashley Flynn. I have a wonderful boyfriend and the most perfect puppy anyone could ever ask for. To start off you're probably wondering how I arrived at the title, right? Well, I'm the horse (thanks dad!), Craig (the boyfriend) is the egg, and Mosley is our puppy. We all live together in the oh so small Houghton, Iowa. Craig is an auctioneer for Sullivan Auctioneers, LLC and I currently work at James Madison Middle School as an education associate. We love love love our family and would do anything for them.
We hope to keep you updated on the fun and exciting things in our life with this blog and even post some pictures! Feel free to make comments, even if you just want to say hi!
